                      I've been doing honey facial masks since summer. So far so good. After applying the honey to my face my face seemed to lighten. I had fewer breakouts too after applying honey. Honey is known for its antimicrobial properties so maybe that's why my breakouts had been lessening. Use the most raw honey with no additives or preservatives to give you a positive result!

Why You Shouldn't Exfoilate Everyday?

                         A lot of people have debated on this topic. Some say you need to exfoliate your skin everyday in order to keep it fresh and clean and free from dead skin. Others say dead skin can come off even if you do not exfoliate daily and that exfoliating strips your body of its natural moisture. 

                    Exfoliating in my opinion should be dona at least three times a week especially if you play sports. Why? I experienced not scrubbing for days and I felt icky. I mean to think of all the sweat, dirt and grime that stuck on me. I felt nauseous. The once a week rule do not seem to apply to me. Learn to know what the limitations of your skin are. Try to adapt to it so that you can have a better skin care regime. Do what you feel comfortable with but also look for tips from online sources and your dermatologist.

Review on Etude House Wonder Pore Toner

                   Etude House's Wonder Pore Toner is one of their bestsellers. I lot of people raved about this product's effectiveness so I decided to try it. I wanted to lessen the size of the pores on my face especially my nose. Th nose strips left my nose pores looking bigger than usual (nooooo!). It looks horrible! I hope this product can be the answer to my enlarged pores.

Pros: 

*The product has a watery consistency and when I put it on my face it doesn't feel heavy.

*The container of the product is cute.

*The oil on face decreased a bit.

*I had less pimples after using the product.

Cons:

*There is a scent of alcohol in the product.

*The product tended to dry my face a bit after continuous use(daily).

 

 

Review on Etude House Proof 10 Auto Pencil

                  I bought this eyeliner for my play last year (late post). This was the first eyeliner I saw that didn't need to use a sharpener. You turn the head of the pencil to get a bit of the product out. This product had a lot of misses and here's why:

CONS:

*The product melted when I left it in my humid room. It was horrible because half of the eyeliner melted off.

*The eyeliner smudges easily after you wet it and eventually it fades (so much for waterproof).

*The head of the container turned easily especially if you forgot to leave the cap off so the product goes out and it breaks in my kit.

Pros:

*The tint was okay.

*The price was affordable.

Review on Yoko Milk Salt Scrub

                This product was introduced to me by my cousin. She told me this product helped in giving her smooth skin and after trying this for myself she indeed was right. It felt like my skin was that of a baby's. It was so soft and smooth and it felt nice to touch it. The product can last you a long time (do not exfoliate your skin daily).

Pros:

*Gave me soft and soft skin.

*Took most of my dead skin.

*The smell is divine (milk and vanilla scent).

*The texture  of the product is just right (the size of the grains are like that of iodized salt).

*The price is affordable.

Cons:

*If you have a wound you should not apply this product on because it will sting.

*The zipper of the product (like that of Ziploc's) does not work. The grains stick to it so it's useless because you can't close the container.

*I haven't seen the whitening effect yet (been using the product on and off since July).

Dear Andrea,

    

               Someday you'll understand why life treats you like this. It only wants to make you stronger. No matter what the problems you experience I know that you will push through because you are a strong and independent girl with lots of goals in life. Don't let a simple problem turn you in the wrong direction. I want you to enjoy life and do the things you have been waiting to do ever since you were young. Life is too short. It won't wait for you. That's why seize every moment as if it was your last. Don't be afraid of change because change will always be there. It's the only thing on earth that will always be there. 

               Some personal advice. Stop eating chips. Those are not good for you. Seriously, you have been binging on chips. Stop it! Look at your weight its been ballooning since last week. Learn to take care of yourself more. Stop, and look at yourself. Treat your body like a temple. You don't want people to see you as someone who doesn't deserve respect and lose some of that weight of yours. You need to lose it for the concert. Exercise more to stop flabs.

                Pick what job you want to have someday. I know it's hard but pick something that you know will make you happy. Don't listen to what other people will tell you because they won't be the ones who will have that job forever. Learn to say "no" to them when you have to.
                  Lessen the stress in your life. If you know you can't take on a project don't do it. Don't add pressure to yourself especially if you feel too stressed out. Learn to balance the tings that are happening in your life. 
                       Last and not the least learn to love yourself. You put other people too much before yourself and it tends to make you too unhappy. Love should happen to you naturally. You shouldn't come looking for it. Achieve a lot before you ask yourself to get married someday so that you will feel fulfilled and proud with yourself. I am proud of you!

Review on Maybelline Baby Lips

             

       My mom's coworker gave me a Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm as a Christmas gift last year. It was great! The first lip balm that I fell in love to. She gave me the pink glow one. I wore this lip balm like everyday and I haven't finished it yet. It lasted me for a long time.

Review on Bvulgari Perfume Set

                  My dad bought me a set of Bvulgari's perfume. They are in mini containers and they look adorable. I know this post isn't about skin care but I can't help myself.

Pros:

*The scent of the perfume is long-lasting.

*They are travel size so it's easier to bring.

*The containers are classy.

*You need a small amount of the perfume on your body because its that powerful.

Cons:

*My dad bought this product for 50 USD but I'm not that sure.(it's a bit expensive for those who are in a tight budget)

*The scents are suitable for cool weather conditions.

 

Review on Lancome Juicy Tubes

               I don't usually use make-up except on occasions where my mom would tell me to. Last time she bought me a tube of Lancome's Juicy Tubes. I was impressed with the product it was AMAZING! I have no let downs for this product so this will be my shortest post (I think). BUY THIS!

Review on Glam Works Nose Pore Strips (Charcoal)

               It's weird when I see blackheads and whiteheads on my nose. They look gross so I find products that help get rid of them. I'm self conscious when it comes to my outer appearance. I try to stay as clean as possible (sometimes very hard to do). So I tries using pore strips to help me get rid of them. One of the nose pore strips I use is the Glam Works Nose Pore Strips in Charcoal

Pros:
*80% of my whiteheads and blackheads were removed.
*My nose felt smooth after using it.
*Th price of the product is cheap.

Cons:
*After using the product for the first time my nose itched a bit.
*It didn't extract all of my whiteheads and blackheads.

Review on AC Clinic Red Spot Balm

        My last post was about the AC Clinic Foam Cleanser and now its about the AC Clinic Red Spot Balm. The girl in the Etude House store said that this product was suited for dark spots or red spots on your face. Dark spots and red spots are seen after your pimple dries out. I had been suffering from blemishes since the fourth grade. So the AC Clinic Red Spot Balm was the answer to my blemishes. 

 Pros:

*The scent is clean.

*You can see changes wit your blemishes after five uses(depends on the severity of the blemish/es).

 *Germ freaks can be rest assured of the hygienic use of the product (there is  a spatula for the removal of the product from the container).

Cons:

*The container makes the removal of the product hard to do (especially if you lose your spatula thingy).

*The product is a bit dense on your face.

Review on Etude House AC Clinic Daily Acne Foam Cleanser

 

          The changing weather condition, stress, etc. seemed to take  a toll on my skin. Pimples were resurfacing everywhere. My face wasn't clear anymore and I hated that. After the pimples were the dark spots. It was horrible and I had to find a way to get rid of them. So me and my mom checked if Etude House had a product for me and thank the gods they had! I wanted to try their set which had the AC Clinic Facial Foam Cleanser and the AC Clinic red Spot Balm(next post).

 Pros:
*It dried out my pimples after two uses. 
*It has a clean scent.
*The cleanser easily lathers.
*The packaging assures you that the product is effective.
*It made my face less oily.
*The price of the set is reasonable.

Cons:
*After the second day of using this product my face began to feel a bit dry.
*The product was a bit strong.
*Not suitable to be used as a daily cleanser if you have dry skin or if you're not acne-prone.

FINAL STATEMENT:
     -Beware those who have ultra dry skin because this product will become your worst enemy(literally). It made my skin dry and it was not a good sight. It can be used when you have your red days or when your hormones are shooting up like crazy because it does its job well in eliminating pimples. But try the product. It may have a different effect on your face. Good luck!

 


                        

Review on Watsons Cleansing Facial Wipes (Floral scented)

          
       I brought this product because I needed facial wipes pronto and this was cheap so I wanted to try it. The packaging is alright. The scent is a bit strong for me and  I guess it works fine.
Pros:
*Very cheap
*Works alright
*Does not occupy too much space

Cons:
*The scent for me is overpowering
*The size of the wipes are too small
     

Review on Etude House BB Cream (Bright Fit)

       I bought my Bright Fit BB Cream in shade no. 2 nine months ago for play use. In our school we have our annual plays so it is required for all actors and actresses to wear make-up. While looking for the perfect foundation I found this and I loved it. It's lighter than foundation and it easily blends with my skin. It has four shades all in all and a tube of the product can last you a very long time.

                              

         

Pros:

*Lasts you for a very long time

*Has SPF 30 PA++

*Has whitening and anti-wrinkle properties

*Does not have a very strong smell

*Great coverage

*Has a hygienic pump

Cons:

*If you apply too much it turns a bit cakey

*Might seem a bit sticky for some people

Review on Etude House Apricot Stick

         I bought the darkest shade of Etude House's Apricot Stick in sour cherry. The lipstick was affordable and you can pat it on for a lighter shade or apply it a lot of times to have cherry colored lips. They have assorted colors where you can choose from and all of them have different flavors. What I love about this line is that each lipstick has a different smell so you won't get bored with it. The pics below will show you what I mean... 

      





Pros:
*The lipstick has a rich color
*The smell of the lipstick is very pleasant
*The color of the lipstick is vivid
*The packaging is very cute (look like crayola twists)
*Very cheap

Cons:
*Does not stay on for a long time (max is 3 hours)
*No SPF
*Is not moisturizing (you need to put on lip balm before using this)
*The twist easily damages

     

Review on Etude House CC Cream (Silky)

             The CC Cream that I tried came from Etude house (bought it with my money). Their CC Cream stands for Correct and Care. The saleslady said that it is more of a skin care item than a make-up item because of its benefits. It comes in two types: Silky (has a matte finish and suitable for people with oily skin) and Glow (suitable for individuals with dry skin because of its dewy finish). When you pump the solution, what comes out is a white formula but don't worry because the CC Cream can adapt to most skin colors. It has special beads in it that pops once you put it on your skin so that the formula can easily adapt to the color of your skin.

Review on the Movie The Gods Must Be Crazy

             The move contains a lot of stories. The ones that I remember was about the Bushmen who found a bottle of coke that cam from and airplane which they thought cam from the gods. Another story was about the romance of Steyn and Thompson that was very awkward. The last story was the guerrillas who failed to kill the president of "Barani" and massacre his whole cabinet.

               The first story revolves around the Bushmen of the Kalahari who were innocent to the fact of hatred, envy, jealousy, etc. They never had a system of ownership because they shared everything. When the bottle fell from the airplane they found a lot of uses for it so they all wanted. That was the time where they discovered hate, envy and all negative traits that they never knew before. Xi, one of the males in the tribe decided to throw the bottle the end of the world.

               The second story was about a shy scientist who fell in love with a teacher/reporter. Steyn, who was very awkward when he was with a woman fell in love with Thompson. They tried to hide the feeling that they felt for each other but their love blossomed. The last story was about the guerrillas who were against their country's politicians. They tried to wreak havoc everywhere to make life for everyone miserable.

              The whole movie is very entertaining but there are parts of the movie where the stories didn't seem to connect so it was a bit hard to understand but i had a lot of fun watching the movie. The movie has a lot of hidden meanings to it so when you watch this movie you need to analyze the scenes that are happening and the things that are happening to the characters.

Review on Purederm Age Defying Cleansing Tissues

            I use this product only for removing my make-up every time we have plays at school (my school holds annual plays so make-up is a must if you're acting on stage). The first time I used this product it removed most of my make-up so i knew that it worked well (I use waterproof make-up when I perform so these wipes are a must). I use other make-up removal wiped but this is one of my most loved make-up removal wipes.

Pros:

*Didn't cause any breakouts for me

*Has natural ingredients in it

*Has age defying properties

*It gives you a soft and clean feel after you use it

*Removes make-up very well

Cons:

*Not suitable for very young users like 13 and below

*Some people might allergic reactions because of the natural ingredients that are used

*Some people might have breakouts after using it

Review on Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser

         I have been a fan of Cetaphil since Grade 6. I have been using it for four years now and it has its pros and cons. It has a watery texture and it has no odor.  It's suitable for all skin types.

Pros:

*No odor (sucks for those who love to use scented cleansers

*Suitable for all skin types

*Great for first timers especially for preteens

*Cleans and moisturizes your face so it doesn't feel dry after using

*Great for everyday use

Cons:

*It does not really have a significant improvement to your face(e.g. reducing pore size, drying up pimples, etc.)

*Does not foam or lather easily

*You won't get that really clean feel after washing

*It's not made from natural ingredients

       But even though Cetaphil is a bit on the gentler side so it won't give you a super clean feeling it is good for on the go use because they have travel size containers.
