New Mixture That I Use for My Dry Scalp and Hair

Lately my scalp and my hair has been acting up due to the humidity and high temperature here in my country and the fact that summer is already here. I've been browsing through a lot of beauty blogs that offer hair care stuff using the items found in your garden or your cup boards. So, after all the "researching" that I've been doing I found a new hair/scalp mixture that will help with my dry/frizzy scalp and hair. On to the mixture:

Ingredients:
*Aloe Vera
*Honey (Raw Honey to be exact)
*Sesame Oil

Procedure:
*For my hair length I put in a blender the gel of my aloe vera plant. I usually use 3-4 leaves of it because I want my mixture to have a kick of the aloe vera goodness.
*After putting the gel in the blender I put 2 tbsp. of raw honey and 1 tbsp. of sesame oil.
*I blend the mixture until it turns runny.
*Then, I put it on my scalp and slowly work it to the strand of my hair until I reach the tips.
*I leave the mixture on for about 30 min.-1 hour and wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner.
*You're finished!

Side notes:
*If you do not have sesame oil try using olive oil.
*If your hair is short or very long (I have medium length hair) try changing the quantities of the ingredients so that it will suit the length of your hair.
*Keep in mind that if you have any allergic reactions to one or more of the ingredients listed do not by any means use this on your head.

Review on Maybelline Crayon Liner

Crayon Liner
cosmetix.com

I bought this eyeliner two weeks ago for an event in school where some of us were required to use eyeliner. I didn't try this eyeliner before buying it because I was in a hurry to leave the mall. All I did was ask the sales lady of the Maybelline counter if they had a pencil eyeliner. She handed it to me and I paid for it without testing the product on my hand. So on to the product...

What the product promises to buyers:
*waterproof
*smudgeproof
*long-lasting
*blendable
theprojectawesome.net

Pros:
*It has a cap on for hygienic purposes.
*The product is cheap. (149php)
*The color payoff is great. (very black)
*Very blendable.

Cons:
*It is not long-lasing, smudgeproof or even waterproof on my lids.
*It transfers easily when I use it on my upper lids. (I have asian eyes)
*The product does not set well when I apply it on my waterline. It tends to give me raccoon eyes.
*The pencil eyeliner is quite short and does not have enough product like other pencil eyeliners in the market.

Overall: I do not recommend that you buy this but if you want to you could test it if it has a different outcome for you but based on my experience I will not repurchase in the near future unless they change their formulation for this product.

Summer Countdown!

SUMMER is the only time when students can have "freedom". It's the only time when you won't have to wake up early(except if you have summer classes) and the only time you can do the things you want. I've been waiting for the end of my classes and the start of my summer vacation. I am so excited! 8 days left to go before school ends. I can't wait! Hurry SUMMER!!!! (three cartwheels)

Review on Liquid Neutrogena Pure Mild Cleanser

I have been using Neutorgena's Liquid Pure Mild Cleanser for three months now. It's an "okay" product. It didn't make a huge difference on my face in terms of hyperpigmentation spots, acne breakouts now and again, etc. It also stings my eyes whenever I try to clean my eyelids and it's a bit drying if you don't use a moisturizer after (moisturize to avoid dryness). So on with the review, shall we.

    Pros:

*mild when used on face and neck (a bit similar to Cetaphil)
*lathers but not too much
*liquid syrupy consistency
*affordable
*suitable for all skin types (as stated on the container)
*the product lasts for a long time
*cleans the face well (but to be on the safe side use a makeup remover before using this in removing your makeup)

   Cons:
*stings the eyes if used on eyelids
*should moisturize after using this (not good for lazy people)
*a bit drying

Note: This can be a good starter cleanser for teens because the formulation that the cleanser has is mild (a bit like cetaphil but it's stronger than cetaphil in my opinion). But remember that not all skin types can use this so buy the small tube and see if it will cause any side effects on your face.
